The only transactions that organized scientology wants to participate in are those where they receive value, but are not obligated to return value.  In other words, they want things done for them either free or at small fraction of real market value, and then delay payment as long as possible.  They don't want to participate in a transaction where they must provide consideration, enter into a obligation, or deal with a person who clearly expects consideration or contract.  Such people are considered "Sources of Trouble" by organized scientology.  
Thus, religious cloaking with "donations" is the purported business model, but in fact, the donations for their courses and counselling are fees.  The 501c3 tax exempt status aids and abets this racket.  It is time that tax exemption is permanently revoked for organized scientology.
