From the Oxford Concise Dictionary:
"Conscious, awake and aware of one's surroundings and identity."

Isn't it interesting that scientology has a few exercises that direct attention to one's surroundings, among very many that do not, but none that deal with one's own identity.
Even an OT8 is supposed to only know who or what they are not.
If you don't know who you are, then you are in some state of unconsciousness.
Do you think that deficiency of scientology was an oversight or was it done by design?

I think, that if any real thought was given by LRH to any processes, that it was deliberately done to keep you from really being conscious. Otherwise, you would get out fast!

There have been a lot of iterations of OT-VIII since it was first released. I think the last known EP is something on the lines of the whole track being mocked up along with bank/reactive mind and that you now need to discover what your true universal purpose is in this world.

LOL. The first part of that I realized after I stopped being a scientologist. The second part is absurd as purposes can always be decided or cancelled. I think that contradicts even basic scientology dogma!
