[Homeward Bound]

Hey folks!

I am trying to help a writer who needs some information quickly.

What he/she needs are the latest numbers on people active in organized scientology in 2008 and since 2008.

I know that is a tough one but if anyone has information and/or links to any reports that might cover more current information on the number of scientologists, the number on lines at flag or elsewhere, etc. it would be greatly appreciated.

Even government census data would be at least somewhat helpful.

We are looking for solid information.

The writer will be looking at this thread to see any replies.

The writer and what he/she is doing is being kept anonymous for now but will be announced in the coming months by myself if by no one else. I can say that IMO it will be for one of the most important writings on scientology ever done and I believe it will get a widespread reading around the world next year.

The definition of "active" seems rather relative to me and I would exclude anyone who completed a Division 6 course or Book One auditing as most of those people do not continue in scientology.
I think the number of Division 4 course and auditing completions and the number of members who completed conveys more objective information.
The only people with that sort of knowledge would have to have had access to Division 4 course and auditing completions statistics at the level of international management in 2008. One could make an rough estimate with just the PAC area Div 4 completions as that constitutes a large percentage of the total.
