Despite "training routines" on the communication course and "service facsimile handling" on Grade IV, scientologists go through extensive indoctrination to not confront Negative Emotion and Criticism. Hubbard's Technical Bulletins and Policy Letters actually demand that they must not confront those things. "Never compromise with your own reality", "Always attack, never defend", "Ruin them utterly if you can", "Dispose of them quietly and without sorrow" "What are your crimes?" are a few examples of such dogma.
Scientologists will not civilly negotiate, discuss, or compromise. Rather they will do one or more of the following:
1. Write a Knowledge Report on you.
2. Verbally attack you.
3. If you are on their property, they will order you off.
4. Threaten you with a lawsuit.
5. Vandalize your property.
6. Threaten to call the police.
7. Disconnect from you.
Bear in mind, they will respond like that to negative emotion or criticism. In their anti-socially programmed minds, negative emotion or criticism evidently seem tantamount to an act of violence. I have found these irrational responses in cofs, freezone scientologists, and even some ex-scientologists who have not been out long.
I have concluded that scientology does not improve confront. Such claims by the organization appear laughingly fraudulent.

Absolutely correct!!! Personally, all of the training I had caused me to be less in communication with people than before I ever got involved with the whole thing. By removing the ability to empathize, the ability to actually listen and understand what is being communicated is removed and the tactical planning on proper ack or ignore or attack strategy is inserted instead. False ARC is thus created. Slimy "conversations" which are really either reg. cycles or just agreement on the what you are supposed to be agreeing on occurs. Spying and KRs are the result, too. No real communication is occurring while in the cult, not even when in session. All due to the training of proper confront which has been really perverted to mean to not show any emotions and maintain control over another.

I agree with your observations, Lamb. The Hubbard notion of communication seems like a mechanical process that is "drilled" into you. Yes, the compulsive need to control = manipulate occupies center stage in scientology. After a few years of dealing with scientologists, I can spot a scientologist because their communication comes across as stereotyped and unnatural.
